Brian K. Ingram worked in Texas law enforcement for a little over 12 years in progressive ranks to include Chief of Police.
Brian has owned and operated Consulting Investigation Services for 21 years and specializes in Digital Forensics, Cyber Investigations, Major Case Criminal Defense and Catastrophic Event Investigations. (Mass Casualty Non-State Actor Events)
Brian was the first to codify a standard methodology for Email Tracing and OSINT investigations, back in 1998 and still teaches those techniques today.
Brian has been a featured speaker at training conferences all over the United States, Canada and Europe teaching digital forensic investigations, cyber investigations and electronic evidence exploitation.
Brian has been a court accepted expert in various state and federal courts throughout the United States and England.
JP Moore - Assistant Regulation Counsel for the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel. Mr. Moore earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. Mr. Moore was a Deputy District Attorney, Senior Deputy District Attorney and Chief Trial Deputy with the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and a Chief Deputy District Attorney with the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining OARC, Mr. Moore was in private practice focusing on criminal defense.
Dennis Root - renowned law enforcement trainer and a nationally recognized expert in the use of force and personal safety. He retired from the martin county Sheriff’s Office in April of 2011, after more than 21 years of service, as a police officer. During his career, Dennis’ duties included road patrol, traffic, detective, canine and he served as the agency’s use of force specialist. Dennis has obtained the Florida Attorney General’s Office designation as a Crime Prevention Practitioner. He has served as the lead Defensive Tactics Instructor for three different law enforcement agencies and is the former lead Defensive tactics Instructor for the Indian River Criminal Justice Training Institute, where he taught both basic and advanced training courses.
Dennis is the President of Dennis Root & Associates, Inc., a private investigation and expert consultant firm. His area of expertise has him working cases across the United States. He has appeared on CNN, HLN and many local news media programs.
In January 2014, Dennis Founded the Dennis Root Public Safety Foundation, Inc. A non-profit 501©3 organization dedicated to supporting community awareness with free public safety and crime prevention programs benefiting children, adults, and seniors. The Foundation also supports the specialized needs of law enforcement and military K-9 teams.
Kelly Riddle - President of Kelmar Global Investigations and has more than 35 years of investigative experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Alabama. He was chosen as the “PI of the Year” by the National Association of Investigative Specialists and the PI Magazine named Mr. Riddle as the “#1 PI in the United States”. He has been designated an expert in surveillance, insurance investigations, nursing home abuse and computer investigations. He was chosen as “One of the Top 25 PI’s of the 20th Century.” Kelly obtained his Texas Certified Investigator designation (less than 50 in TX.) Mr. Riddle is also the past President (2010-2012) for TALI - the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators; Board of Directors (2007-2010) for TALI as well as being on the Board of Directors for the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas. Kelly is on the Advisory Board for FAPI - the Florida Association of Private Investigators and is on the Public Relations committee for the Council of International Investigators. Kelly is also on the Board of Directors for the Intellenet Board Accredited Investigator certification and the Membership Chair for the San Antonio Chapter of ASIS. He is a Founding Board Member and Board Advisor for the non-profit organization “Can You Identify Me.” Mr. Riddle is on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Missing and Exploited Children. Kelly was the recipient of the 2013 Investigator of the Year award, the highest recognition presented by the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators.
Mr. Riddle is the author of 10 books and has published more than 40 articles. He has been the guest speaker at more than 500 events and has been on national TV, radio and newspapers. Kelly was also presented the NALI Editor-Publisher Award in 2004.
Prior law enforcement experience includes being a member of the SWAT team, a Training Officer, Emergency Medical Technician, Evidence Technician, Arson Investigator, Juvenile Specialist and Traffic Investigator.
Mr. Riddle is the Founder and President of the PI Institute of Education, as well as the Association of Christian Investigators with more than 1000 members in the U.S. and 19 countries. Kelly is the Founder of the Coalition of Association Leaders comprised of past and present board members from state, national and international associations.
Francie Koehler - CPI, CCDI, CFSI, CLI - Francie Koehler has been conducting civil and criminal investigations since 1985. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Francie provides investigative services for attorneys from the private and public sector. As a licensed private investigator in California, Francie’s chief investigative focus is pre-trial and post-conviction criminal defense for both juvenile and adult defendants. Francie is committed to the growth of the investigator profession and is an active member of both state and national associations. Her company, Special Circumstances, provides a variety of investigative services ranging from background searches, field investigations, pre-trial preparation to post-trial convictions.
Francie’s cases have received attention from both television and print media. The TV show, Unsolved Mysteries, covered one of her cases. Crime authors Val McDermid and Anne Rule both wrote separately on two of Koehler’s cases. She can also be found weekly as host for PI’s Declassified! on Voice America Variety. The show is an internationally recognized internet radio program, designed to profile the role of the private investigator in the legal system.
Francie is the former president of the National Council of Investigation & Security Services and of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI). Awarded by both organizations for her work, she serves on their legislation committees and regularly testifies before the California State Legislature regarding bills concerning PI’s. She chairs CALI’s legislation committee and formerly chaired the same committee for the National Association of Legal Investigators. Francie has been recognized by her state regulatory agency for outstanding service to her profession. She holds memberships in the Council for International Investigators, World Association of Detectives and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. Also, Francie works with the Innocence Project and is a Certified Conflict Mediator.
Paul Collins - Lead for the Trucking/Motor Carrier Litigation practice group, Paul Collins regularly spearheads regional defense litigation for a number of regional and national common carriers. Paul leverages his broad experience in every conceivable aspect of common carrier litigation to inform his frequent industry speaking engagements, client presentations, and trade association activities.
Not limited to vehicles with GVWR over 19,500 pounds, Paul also has significant experience in products liability cases representing automobile manufacturers defending injury suits arising out of design defects.
Paul’s practice extends to decades of coverage work, from opinions to bad faith and declaratory actions, on behalf of several national insurance carriers admitted in Colorado and elsewhere. He not only provides coverage litigation counsel, but frequently advises carrier clients on navigating policy language through state and federal regulations to avoid compliance issues on specimen forms. He was elected TAM’s third-ever Managing Shareholder in 2015.
Chris Wells - President of Scout Computer Forensics, Inc. His expertise extends across computer and cell phone forensics, vehicle system forensics, Call Detail Record analysis and mapping, cyber-investigations, and cybersecurity.
Prior to founding Scout, Chris spent nearly three decades as a professional software developer, during which time he accrued both broad and deep knowledge about how digital information is stored, processed, and transmitted. Now, in addition to over 1,000 hours of classroom training in his areas of expertise, he holds highly-regarded certifications in digital forensics, the law of data security and investigations, and computer, smartphone, and website security.
Chris is a licensed private investigator in Colorado, and a member of the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado, Colorado Society of Private Investigators, International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, High-Technology Crime Investigation Association, and Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado.
Well-known for his ability to explain complex technical topics in simple and practical terms, Chris frequently gives presentations on digital evidence-related issues to attorneys and investigators.
Gene Ferraro - Founder and Chief Executive of ForensicPathways, Inc. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Justice School and a former Marine Corps Naval Aviator and combat flight instructor. He is board certified in both Human Resources Management (SPHR and SHRM-SCP designations) and Security Management (CPP designation). He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Professional Certified Investigator. He has been a member of ASIS International since 1987 and serves as a member of the ASIS Standards and Guidelines Commission and co-chaired the technical committee which developed the new national ANSI/ASIS Investigations Standard. Gene is the founder and former Chief Executive and Ethics Officer of Convercent, Inc., a Denver based global whistleblower hotline and compliance service with clients in over 130 countries. He is also an inventor and was recently issued three patents by the USPTO for his inventions which architecturally underlie and support Convercent’s technology offerings. He is a licensed Professional Investigator in California, Colorado, and Illinois and is the author of 15 books.

Steven D. Zansberg has represented media companies, online publishers, and individuals in defending claims based on content, fighting subpoenas, and seeking access to government information and proceedings. He represented the national news media in connection with coverage of the Aurora theater shooting case, the Oklahoma City bombing trials, and the Kobe Bryant rape prosecution. He secured access to public records related to the murder of JonBenét Ramsey and the shooting at Columbine High School. Steve also litigates copyright and trademark matters. Steve has also defended dozens of defamation and invasion of privacy cases in both state and federal courts across the nation. He has successfully briefed and argued appeals to the Colorado Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and 10th Circuits. Steve is an active leader in the national media law bar. He is a past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Communications Law, and has chaired several other committees within the ABA and the Media Law Resource Center. Steve also serves as the President of the Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition, which educates about and promotes greater transparency in state and local governments.
Steve has taught media law and internet law at the University of Colorado and at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Steve was a freelance documentary producer at the public television station in San Francisco.
