The Problem

Your Footage Deserves Better Than “She Was Having a Good Day”

Investigators are among the best in the business at securing high-quality surveillance footage of claimants. However, opposing counsel frequently tries to dismiss this hard-won footage by claiming the plaintiff was “just having a good day,” or by aggressively questioning the investigator’s lack of medical training.

At TNAN Consulting, we partner with PIs to provide Clinical Surveillance Analysis — reviewing your members’ field footage and cross-referencing it directly against the claimant’s medical charts, stated physical limitations, and physician orders.

Speaker: Jeff Roberts

Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition

Executive Director Jeffrey A. Roberts worked in journalism and public policy before coming to the Colorado Freedom of Information Coalition in July 2013.

He was at The Denver Post from 1984-2007 as a reporter, assistant city editor and data journalism specialist on The Post’s projects team and later spent four years at the University of Denver’s Center for Colorado’s Economic Future. Early in his career, Roberts was a reporter at the News-Press in Fort Myers, Fla. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwestern University.

Roberts is also board president of the National Freedom of Information Coalition.

CORA and CCJRA

Mr. Roberts will be continuing his incredibly popular workshop from last year on the Colorado Open Records Act and the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act.
